To celebrate the opening, we’ve lined up an exciting day of events, tasty food, and green markets. Come out and celebrate the start of the summer season with us amidst the stunning, snowy peaks of Hakuba!

 Opening Day Highlights

1. Meet Murao & Alphorn Performance

Say hello to Hakuba’s beloved local mascot, Murao, and enjoy the iconic, resonant sounds of the Alphorn echoing across the valley to kick off the season.

2. New Summer Menu Tasting

This summer, Restaurant ALPS360 is completely revamping its menu! On opening day, join us for a special preview and a sneak peek tasting of our delicious new creations:

• Brand New Soba Galettes: Nutritious, delicious, and incredibly satisfying buckwheat galettes topped with local Hakuba pork, Shinshu salmon, and fresh seasonal vegetables.

• Handmade Pastries & Dessert Galettes: Created by our in-house patisserie chef, enjoy beautiful seasonal fruit tarts, a playful "Soba Garden Dessert," and sweet, fruity dessert galettes.

3. Stunning Views: Snow & Fresh Spring Greenery

Take in the breathtaking, limited-time contrast of the remaining white winter snow against the dazzling, vibrant new greenery of the early summer mountains.

4. Discover Rare Alpine Plants

Keep an eye out as you stroll through the garden—our early-blooming rare alpine plants are already starting to peek out from between the rocks to welcome the sun.

5. "HAKUBA GREEN MARKET" Seedling Bazaar

Organized by the Cortina English Garden, this lovely plant market is the perfect place for green thumbs!

• Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Featuring 7 top plant vendors and regional botanical gardens (including Hakuba Goryu). Come find the perfect addition to your home garden!

Eat, Shop & Relax: Escal Plaza Facilities Fully Open!

Our base center, Escal Plaza, will also be fully operational starting opening day.

It's the perfect spot to grab lunch, shop, or unwind after spending time up on the mountain!

• Restaurant Midori no Shokutaku: Freshly handmade, authentic local soba noodles.

• Escal Shop: A fantastic selection of regional souvenirs, snacks, and local gifts.

• Ryujin no Yu Onsen: A relaxing natural hot spring bath to soothe your muscles and unwind.
